Greetings! As the marketing director for the Trek of Pittsburgh Bicycle Stores, I must say that it’s great to work in the bike industry; the people, the product, the travels…it’s wonderful!
I started riding in college in attempts to lose the dreaded freshmen fifteen. I had a steel, rigid mountain bike that I would urban ride with friends around campus. Down stairs with no suspension and toe cages; that’s all I have to say! I soon began to love mountain biking and xc riding with tips and support.
Summer 2007 is when I started road cycling. Embarassingly enough, I had owned my road bike for a year before I started riding it on a consistant basis – all it took was one ladies night crit race at the Washington Blvd oval and I was hooked!
Currently I own a Bianchi Oetzi cross country bike and a little 52cm Trek 5.2 Madone that is great for building up endurance and enjoying beautiful scenery on country roads.
Betsy!!
It was wonderful meeting you this season. If you ever need motivation to ride, please call me. Any night of the week. NIght riding this time of year is incredible. The air is crisp, and even on the dreariest of days and once the sun goes down you don’t think about the weather. Check out the stars! My favorite is swapping mp3 players with a friend. Use someone elses music to motivate yourself. Always makes for a great change of pace!
Cheers chica

Why do all female riders have alias?
Brian,
Female riders have alias names so they can determine who they’re going to be friends with…
Seriously. Keep the creapy guys away.
