Weekend Report

I had a really great, action packed kind of weekend.  The BELLAs attended the Friday night Pirate Game against the Kansas City Royals, where the Pirates took the win 6-2!  Ni-eeece!  Go Bucs!

the Race 2 Anyplace thru the eyes of a BELLA

As the BELLAs arrived on Saturday morning we quickly noticed we brought some of the trails with us. heehee (so easily amused)!  We swapped out the caged pedals for some SPDs hoping we’d feel more at home on the spin bikes.  I’m sure it helped our riding, but the pedals definitely hindered our transitions. 

Pittsburgh BELLAs & the Race to Anyplace!

The Pittsburgh BELLAs made their debut this weekend!  BELLAs = Biking Enthusiastic Ladies Loving Adventures, or Beauties, whichever you prefer.  We did not claim victory at our first race together, but we did have a sweet, sweet time tryin’!  6 hours of indoor spinning.  15 minute intervals between riders.  196+ miles completed.  Priceless!  Full race report [...]
